Videos

As an option to lab reports, I'm asking interested students to video record their lab activities. Maybe Ms. Allen could help the kids edit scripts (voice-over narrations) and we could improve the quality of these recordings by showing the kids how to use some of the video editing tools.

Any suggestions?

My latest attempt to create useful videos is now online. This one is a video tutorial for calorimetry: http://www.chemvideos.com/videos/24/calorimetry - I changed microphones to a audio-technica USB and used 3 audio tracks. I did not use the Tablet PC digital ink features on this video.

  2. Layne I will have Max's students help with the editing if you are all right with the fact that they are beginning students.

  3. Excellent.

Sarah - I'm looking for the kids to create 2 - 4 minute content focused videos on how to do a lab.

Sherry - excellent idea. I'll have the kids create drafts first.
