Finals- we discussed support that will be available to our academy kids as they prepare for finals. It was determined that Heiny and Sawyer will be available everyday after school from here until finals for support.
2nd Homeroom- we updated current state of things on getting a multimedia homeroom for Layne. Everyone has signed off on it and it should happen about the first week next semester.
Purity- discussion was had on changes that need to occur in order to get back to purity after powerschools changes from summer. Those fixes should take effect start of next semester.
Collaboration- plans were made for increasing integrated project coordination for next semester, this included when we will be logging our hours.
Teachers- brainstorming for next year’s teachers to be added was discussed. We opened dialog with Kramer, McWhorter and Lewis. We are still considering another math teacher and an English teacher.
Vision/Mission statement- all are thinking about this.
Funds- everyone was encouraged to put in their P.O.’s before March so money isn’t frozen at the D.O. level.
Next year common lunches- conversation was had with Matt Anderson about getting our new teachers next year on a common lunch with us and that way all the kids are on the same lunch as well so we can have bbq’s etc. for unity. This is looking good.
