Would there be interest in my installing Moodle onto the domain for the digital academy? This would provide us with a uniform calendar - and maybe help the kids get organized next semester. Instead of the wiki just sitting idle, Moodle might be more useful.
Let me know. I'll gladly install Moodle and start setting up the courses.

ReplyDeleteIs there a "tag line" or "slogan" for the academy? I think the line below the site title should say something "succinct" about the academy.
Teacher IDs will need to be created. Please send me your preferred username, full name, and courses you teach. Once we have this set then everyone can login and we can start populating the calendar with events, etc.
ReplyDeleteI will think about a slogan. As far as username, jstockdale, and I teach digital electronics, aerospace engineering and intro to engineering. Digital Electronics is the only academy course though.

ReplyDeleteSherry and others - I've set up the classes and now we just need to get everyone trained. Moodle will give the kids a common calendar and help them get organized for studying.
ReplyDeleteI need to get past the promo stuff for the Academy Layne and I will start using it. I do need a little training. Maybe the Academy teachers can have their own session with you:)
